New acting head for GSA10 September 2010Heike Wieland took up the transitional post in June 2010, moving from the GSA’s legal office, which she had headed since February 2006. Wieland brings with her a wealth of experience to the job. A lawyer by training and profession, her specialities include international technology transfers, venture capital for new technology projects, aviation law and legal risk management. Wieland will act as the Agency's head until a new permanent Executive Director is appointed in late 2010, early 2011.
